Stanstead Abbotts and Stanstead St Margarets Neighbourhood PlanThe culmination of many years of hard work by the Neighbourhood Plan Group, parish councils and residents will come to fruition in a referendum on:
Everyone living within the Neighbourhood Plan area will have a vote and will receive a polling card through their letterbox in the next couple of weeks.
Voting will take place from 7am to 10pm – details of your polling station will be on your polling card
The Neighbourhood Plan will help protect the villages from unplanned and inappropriate development, and contains many important policies, including allocating land for new housing.
You can read more about the Neighbourhood Plan by clicking on this link: www.eastherts.gov.uk/sasmnp
This is your chance to have a say on the future of the villages
If you do not receive a polling card, you can contact East Herts Council (01279 655261) or the Parish Clerk at clerk@stansteadabbottsparishcouncil.gov.uk
You can also arrange a proxy or postal vote if you might be unable to vote in person on the day (Probably best to contact the parish Clerk as above).
